A little trip to Brugge

My husband and I have just returned from a mini trip to Brugge, spending two nights on a P&O ferry from Hull and a one night stay in a hotel in Brugge.  Brugge in Belgium is a place I have never been to before, the architecture is amazing, with every turn a beautiful building is to be seen.  Brugge is a small city which makes it a great place to explore, pedestrians, cyclists and horse and cart seem to be the main way to travel around this city.  So many beautiful shops and restaurants too!

Whilst in Brugge we decided to go on the De Halve Maan (The Half Moon) Brewery Tour, which is the only family run brewery in the centre of Brugge. Whilst on the tour you get to climb to the roof top where you get to see a great view of Brugge.  This place is well worth a visit!

I have never drank such a large Hoegaarden!

Our P&O ferry back home to Hull

The Belgium chocolates were amazing too :-)
